Chadwick is a 40-unit complex conveniently located in Garner on East Garner Road. Located next door to the Garner Senior Center, Chadwick is also within walking distance to Historic Downtown Garner. The complex offers residents a variety of activities and services such as a library, monthly social events and a high-speed community computer for email and internet access. A recent partnership with the Wake County Public Library system has a added large-print books to the library as well. Chadwick also includes: a security system at the entrance that is connected to each apartment, a two story barrier-free design with power-assisted entry doors and elevator, a fireproof design with sprinklers throughout, on-site laundry facilities, handicap accessible units, and an on-site resident manager.
Supportive services through Resources for Seniors of Wake County are available to those with special needs, as well as regularly programmed activities for all residents. Each apartment includes emergency bedside alarms, accessible bathrooms with grab bars, fully equipped kitchens with electric stoves, range hoods and refrigerators, energy efficient electric heat and air conditioning with thermostats in each unit and wiring for telephones and cable television in each apartment.
