Highland Manor Apartments was completed in late spring, 2005. It is part of the first phase of DHIC’s 258-home Highland Village community in Cary. Highland Manor has 32 units restricted to seniors, and all are one-bedroom with the exception of one two-bedroom unit for the resident manager. Two units are designed with accessible features. It is a unique housing community because it can provide homes for seniors with extremely limited incomes. Highland Manor includes the following amenities:

Income Limitations: Occupancy at Highland Manor is limited to people age 62 and older with incomes less than 50% of Area Median Income.
Current Rents:
  • $313 for rent and utilities. Rental assistance is available so that no resident pays more than 30% of their income for rent.
