Lennox Chase is a 37-unit, supportive housing rental community providing studio apartments for very low- income individuals in Raleigh. Each studio apartment, approximately 500 square feet, includes a full kitchen and bath, along with a combination living and sleeping area. With large windows, storage space and open floor plans, the studios have the feel of loft apartments. Lennox Chase offers supportive services to residents on site and coordinates follow-up services offered by local agencies that refer residents to the apartment community.
DHIC worked with Wake County Human Services (WCHS) and representatives from referral agencies to plan Lennox Chase as a community that helps individuals make the successful transition from homelessness, transitional housing programs and overcrowded, costly or substandard housing. WCHS provides a Housing Specialist to coordinate referrals from agencies and follow-up services.
