DHIC, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening neighborhoods and families in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina. We develop high-quality and attractive rental apartments and homeownership opportunities for families, seniors and other individuals with modest or very limited incomes. Our Homeownership Center offers comprehensive homebuyer education, counseling and access to downpayment assistance programs for first-time homebuyers and those who want to better manage their resources and stay in the home they have. We are one of just 240 members of NeighborWorks® America, a network of exemplary community development organizations like us across the country. Welcome to DHIC!




Thank You, HomEq Servicing!

On Friday, January 29th, 2010, HomEq Servicing in Raleigh presented a check to DHIC's Homeownership Center in the amount of $14,979.29. This marks the third year that HomEq Servicing's employees, led by its CHEER Committee, have pitched in their creative energy and "sweat equity" to raise funds for DHIC, part of a nationwide partnership with NeighborWorks® America. Departmental teams worked the entire year to raise funds, and were not to be outdone! One team conducted a mini-fair that included pie throwing and a dunking station. Another auctioned gift cards contributed by local merchants, and another sponsored a Mexican dinner. These and other creative fundraising activities resulted in a donation that was nearly double that of the prior year. Thank you HomEq Servicing!
