Mr. Ward has more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting with a decade of that experience in real estate development. He began his career in public accounting, working in both assurance and tax services. He then leveraged this experience to pivot into corporate finance and accounting in the real estate development for a highly respected developer in the South Atlantic region. Mr. Ward quickly realized he enjoyed corporate finance and accounting, however, he was not satisfied specializing in just one industry and wanted to expand his knowledge. Almost 15 years ago, he took his skills and expertise into the not-for-profit sector, working in healthcare, early childhood education, and once again in real estate development with a focus on affordable housing.
